Project Description:
We need a horizontally-scrolling JQuery timeline that simulates and builds on the functionality of Simile Timeline (now unsupported).
It must have a professional UI (not gimmicky) similar to Simile, ability to dynamically add and remove events, clickable events that show pop-up window containing free text, link. Ability to add multiple timeline bands that link and stay syncronised when either is scrolled (by using mouse-wheel or mouse-down and move).
Timeline must work in Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and in all versions of IE from 6 to latest.
It must play well with .Net AJAX, i.e. does not lose references on .Net async post back (or can be easily re-attached in ScriptManager endRequest method).
