The designed motherboard should control a portable traffic light.
It should control 3 high power LED circuits (+12V power from battery and solar)
It should be developed on the .NET Micro Framework, we will do the software part ourselves, we only require hardware design.

1x double seven segment display
Board backend should have:
3 mosfet outputs to control 3 high-power LED cuircuits
Here are some reference hardware designs (open-source with pcb layouts and schematics) which can be used to get a general idea,
ultimately we would need this on a single board.
1. .NET micro mainboard in DIP40 format with USB programing access, for easy plugin to the board. - it could be used if the .NET chip directly on the traffic light board is either too complicated or too expensive to design.
2. high-current load module can be used to see how to design the 3 outputs to control 3 high-power LED circuits
3. max module can be used to see how to design circuitry to control double seven segment and 6 signalling LED's
4. USB Client DP Module can be used to see how to efficiently provide power circuitry from a +12V battery and solar power
Design of a prototype is welcome.
Manufacturing suggestions inside European Union are also very much welcome.
