We need some help on a smaller project.
We need to be able to access a business facebook page (Fan Page) and write a message to the wall programmatically perhaps through the use of a webservice etc. We have exhausted all possible Facebook APIs to allow this, but we would like to directly access the wall of a given business profile page..we ahve the authorization and the proper username and password of course...if you could programmatically paste a message to the wall and press "share" to post it to the wall.
We need to basically post to a facebook "business page" from a web form on our internal website.
This may sound trivial, but make sure you understand this is posting a wall comment on a "business page" where other people "become fans". The probelm that we have is that these pages are not actual pages with separate logins but they are linked to personal account....so if you use the login of the personal account with the API it posts messages to our personal page not to the Business Profile Page.
It likely will need some creative development to access the "post to wall" input box and press the submit button programatically. Parameters that we would pass into the webservice would be, profile URl, username and password, message to post. possibly the username and password part could be cookied by facebook on our "local" machine and it would not need to be part of the webservice.
If you are able to do this, it needs to be complete before 8am MDT on Friday
