Project Description:
I have a requirement to re-write an inventory / stock managenent system, originally written in .net 1.1 to be updates to .net 3 or 4. The software manages kit types. A Kit type is defined by a set of items. There can be multiple instances of one kit type. For each kit, the system needs to record batch numbers and expiry dates of individual items in it.
At any time we should be able to search for a batch number or expiry date and track the kits and their location.
Kits can be issued and return to and from locations
The system must sit on top of our login application (already written), and follow strict guidlines in terms of development. We will provide a detailed spec for each part of the development. It can be written in c or vb with mssql using stored procedures. We would also require documention to help with further development.
