Given a .CSV file with the following format:
• Headers
o Symbol (string)
o Date (Date in format MM/D/YYYY H:MM)
o Attribute 1 (numeric)
o …
o Attribute N (numeric)
• Symbol has strings from a collection of values
• Date is spaced out in uniform time intervals (i.e.: 1 day, 5 minutes, 1 minutes)
The program mas get the following parameters
• Source file path (or browser may be better)
• Destination file path (or browser may be better)
• Prompt for number of elements (1,2,3,4) M
• Prompt for number of time delays (1 – 14)
• Prompt for 1 target Symbol (from the list of symbols in the .CSV file)
• Prompt for M – 1 Source Symbols (from the list of symbols in the .CSV file)
• Prompt for Label Column
The program will output a new .CSV file with the following format
• <TARGET_SYMBOL>.ALL COLUMNS
• FOR EACH TIME DELAY
o <TARGET_SYMBOL>.ALL COLUMNS FROM 1, 2, … N ROWS BEFORE
• FOR EACH COURCE SYMBOL
o FOR EACH TIME DELAY
<SOURCE SYMBOL(I)>.ALL COLUMNS
The columns on the target file must be named <SYMBOL>_<ATTRIBUTE NAME>_<DELAYS>
BONUS
• Give the option to select a number of symbols and automatically run the program for all permutations. For example, chosen A,B,C,D run:
o A target, B-C-D sources
o B target, A-C-D sources
o C target, A-B-D sources
o D target, A-B-C sources
