I am looking for some consulting to assist on changing over our current company IT needs froma workgroup environment to a Domain, I have some IT skills but I am looking for someone with experience to help suggest some things we might need, I have a small budget but I would like to get a new server( 2003 or 2008) and build an active directory and start new, along with this I would be interested in making the new server into virtualization based on ESXi or whatever you may suggest. Colaboration is important on all workstations and we need to share documents or some suggestions on this would be nice other than 'google docs' with some more functionality( sharepoint???) I would also need to know what other servers we may need to setup, we have a file server built on server 2003 that would be nice to virtualize as well if we could.
I am looking for some to offer good consulting based on our tight budget and potentially provide some configuration once the network starts to go together, please keep this in mind, remote services would be a nice options for the workers, possibly VPN access or terminal services, i'm not sure. another area I could use some consulting on too.
Virtualization is complex for me right now as I am new to it. Assistance would be required for this scenario also.
