Project Description:
I need a plugin/script for Virtuemart 2.0 that gives customers the possibility to specify:
- the product quantinty
- the width of the product
- the height of the product
they need and uses this to calculate the price of the product. The product with corresponding price is then added to the shop cart.
ThThis custom size (height and width specification) has to be optional because there are some products that need this and some products that don't, so the possibily to add products with a fixed price has to remain.
Besides the height and widt calculation the customer can choose from a variety of paid options-attributes (paid per sq.m. as well) (Colors, accessories etc)
The height and width specification needs to be easy in use for both front-end and back-end.
It must calculate the square meters. The price of the product that introduce the administrator of virtuemart is per square meter. All sizes below 1 sq.m. taken as 1sq.m. for prices purposes but keeping correct details in the cart and on an order page as well, just the minimum 1sq.m. price applied.
It also needs validation to avoid exceed minimal and maximun height and width specs.
Some products will also have attribures with a fixed (flat) price for it, so it will always increse the total price of the same attribute price - not dependant on sq.m.
The site will also have standard products that still need to function without a calculator.
There has to be a discount possibility for bigger sizes and it can be done with product price list.
Also, it has to show correct calculated price on the product page before it will be added to the cart!
Needs to be compatible with all browsers and to make the job easy for you there is an existing one I have on Joomla 1.5 and VM 1.0 - I will show this site upon request
