I am looking at creating a website that facilitates P2P communication. Its similar to social networking but much simpler. It is designed to facilitate online tutorials and communication between a student and the tutor. Basic functions need to be: - Login as Student or Teacher - Create a basic profile (1 for student and 1 for teachers) - Communicate and contact tutors and students on the site - Students prepay 'learning credits' which is deducted from their credit account based on the tutor fees - Sync into individual lesson rooms where student and teacher can: * Chat * Send files * Video (can use Skype) * Sound (can use Skype) Its probably very similar to this very site, RAC, but with more communication and live contact between the coder and client (except its tutor and student). The site will need to be built with growth in mind. I understand this is quite brief but it will give you an idea of what I am after. Im happy to use existing plugins as I'm not necessary after something completely custom made. I would also like to know how long you think such a project will take. Thanks and Good luck!
