Project Description:
This is a service oriented portal where users can pick and choose our services. Vendors can post their services. Both will need proper authentication. Paid and free services will be offered based on the type of A/c user sets up. Strict time-lines will be there for services. Services whose time-lines have expired are visible for free viewing. Others will require paid memberships. Paypal (or any other gateway we pick) will be catering to the commerce part. Technical Support will be there where users can open up tickets, track them until they get closed. Tracking their Order History, Support History will be there. They should be able to post their experiences in our discussion forums after messages have been Okayed by our moderator. Customized reports (pictorial, graphical where applicable) should be available for Management to view. These can be based on simple criteria or business Analysis reports. Real time tracking of traffic showing visitor summary, uniqueness, regions etc. Career ops. with us where applicants can submit their resumes in txt/html formats.

## Deliverables

Site Requirements: Designing: Homepage needs to be informational and attractive at the same time. A very small flash movie (15 sec) giving the emotional touch of children concerned about their parents and families' health followed by an Investments movie (15 sec) that shows how good investments and family lifestyles can be inter-related. Development: Basically we will have 3 categories for the users on our home page: Customers (users), Principals (Vendors), Career Opportunities (people interested in joining our team) Management - User capacities (Customers Section): 1 Account Logins (Database required) Free and paid memberships. (Proper authentication required for A/c) a) Free memberships can view the older schemes and the services whose timeline has expired. b) Paid membership will be for current schemes. c) Paypal (or any other gateway who we tie up with) capabilities for services: 1) Picking and choosing individual service orders 2) Annual Subscriptions for standard services 3) Additional Individual services required by Annual subscribed members. d) Technical Support helpline (Database Required) 1) Create New Tickets (tracking time of creation, response time and ticket status). Tickets will be either Open or Closed. Anything open over 48 hrs will be flagged. We can have 4-5 coloration for the flags to indicate the ticket status. 2) Report should be generated real-time depending on the type of query sent (for tickets status etc.) These services should also be available for the users to check on. a) User Reports: users should be able to see his Account history with us and track his status of orders placed. b) Also all user’s tickets history and support request should be viewable. c) Management Reports based on any criteria we choose: 2 Clients should be able to see our principals’ information (whichever companies we tie-ups with). 3 Discussion forums should be there where people can post reviews and their experiences for their services. They will be moderated by us and Okayed before posting Management - Principals capacities (Database required) - 1 Principals A/c setups: e.g each service provider associated with us has an A/c with us. a) Vendors should be able to able to see the list of their services provided (Add/edit/delete anytime we need) by us, b) If some new vendor wants to add/edit services he should be able to do that. Towards the end of the day we should be able to generate reports for the new service requests added or any new other criteria. c) Analysis Reports: based on their history of business, charts display and analysis should be there to show us the results for the criteria we setup for viewing any report. Principals and Users should be transparent to us but they should not be able to contact each other directly unless we approve that (case to case basis). Career Ops: Those interested should be able to submit their resumes online (send attatchments only in txt format). Or/And fill up our pre-formatted forms that ask for their Names and other particulars etc. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO VIEW REAL TIME TRAFFIC ON OUR SITE AND GENERATE SUMMARY REPORTS OF VISITORS BASED ON THEIR REGIONS ETC.


## Platform

IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN ON WINDOWS AND LYNUX WEB SERVER. WEB DEVELOPMENT SHOULD BE IN .NET AND THE SITE SHOULD BE MOSTLY DATABASE DRIVE. ANY SIMPLE CHANGES/CUSTOMIZATION THAT WE REQUIRE SHOULD BE EASY ENOUGH TO BE HANDLED BY US.
