We are a web hosting company and are looking for a technical support
(server administrator) specialist for a long term. We provide Windows
2003 + MS SQL 2000 Web Hosting only. We do not have Unix/Linux servers.
The candidate should:
1. Be able to read/write in English. Fluent (spoken, native) English is
a big plus.
2. Be available to work (and be online!!!) at least 5 working days (8
hours a day, Monday to Friday at least). We do not care of your time
zone. You can live in any country and work in your local 8:00 to 17:00
e.g.
3. Have an extensive knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003 administration.
4. Have a knowledge of MS SQL 2000 administration. Extensive knowledge
is a big plus.
5. Have a knowledge of MS IIS, MS DNS administration. Extensive
knowledge is a big plus.
6. Have a basic knowledge of HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP. Extensive
knowledge is a big plus.
7. Be able to understand and troubleshoot customer problems, answer
customer questions by email.
8. Ability to chat with a customer via ICQ/MSN Messenger is a big plus.
9. Have a good (quite fast, stable) connection to the Internet. Or
ability to get it quickly.
10. Be a self-motivated person. Be a self-control person, show patience.
Salary:
This is a monthly fixed rate plus bonus. The bonus depends on workload
and the quality of your work. E.g. if a customer send a complaint this
may lower your bonus, but his kind words will definitely rise your
bonus.
How to start:
This is a long term work. We are going to review the comments of the
candidates. Before we accept the bid we may ask some questions, chat
with the candidate.
