Web-based Video/Audio File Converter We need a website where people can convert video and audio files to other formats. We will want the ability to limit the conversions according to time (allowing only X number of conversions per X minutes) and also a max number of conversions. The website should allow the download of a YouTube video (.flv) from a specified URL and convert it to a user-specified format (.mpg .mov .mp4 .wmv or .3gp). The file types for conversion are listed below: Video Windows .mpg Windows .avi Mac .mov iPod/PSP/iPhone .mp4 Windows .wmv Flash .flv Mobile .3gp Audio Audio .mp3 Audio .wav The website should work on all major browsers. We have a specific workflow we want to integrate into the conversion process on the website. This will involve passing parameters via a cookie session and then using those parameters to obtain the file from the user-specified URL, convert it, and output the converted file for download by the user. I will clarify this more in one-on-one communication during the bid process if needed.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Hello to everyone bidding on and looking at our project... we are going to change the scope. I will refine the description with the changes. Basically, we are going to focus on the website/script portion of the project only at this time. We will issue two other additional projects: 1) a windows-based program "shell" which will essentially be a custom web browser that will access the website script above... and then 2) we will issue a project that will focus on the windows program that will do the video/audio conversions on the user's PC (without accessing a web script for the conversion). I hope this makes sense and do apologize for any confusion. Please bid on the project with this in mind. We need to move quickly on making a decision so we can get started.
