I am seeking to develop a web based software based on an excel model I developed. I will need someone to write the software as well as design the webpage. This will be a business to business software so quality, results, and appearance matters. I will need to see examples of similar projects prior to awarding a bid.
The winner will need to take the excel model I created in turn it into web based software. The functions are very simple as in the excel model I mostly use simple functions such as "sumif", and "vlookups". The web based software will involve creating a login for potential users of the site, allowing the users to select certain inputs including text fields (for the purposes of names), selecting from certain options, uploading data using a cvs or excel file, downloading data to a cvs or excel file, and printing results.
The main function of the site is very simple. A user will login, upload data and select certain input options. The data will be uploaded to specific standard accounts which will be identified on the cvs/excel upload file. The software will adjust the data based on the inputs selected from the user and a standard table which the software looks to to make certain determinations. The software will than, based on that analysi,s provide results to the user in a standard format. The table is a standard table but the user will be able to select inputs on the table which means that the table must be unique to the environment for each user.
There most be an administrative function that allows the owner of the software to create a new account, new environment, and new table for each user. The administrative function must also allow the administrator to reset passwords, activate or deactiveate user accounts, and generally administer the site.
Additional functions of the site allows the user to adjust how the user see the results (i.e. the results may come back in five detail rows that sum up to the top row but the user should be able to adjust to results to see only the top row or all five rows containing the details).
The webpage itself contains approximately 20-25 screens that allows the user to login, select inputs, upload data, see results, and some basic administrative functions such as adding users and selecting user permissions for the site such as "view only", "edit", or "administrator".
