Hi,
I would like to make some modifications to the classifieds script located at: www.deltascripts.com to make it work simillar to www.cars.com
What I need are the following:
1. I would like to remove the category structure
2. I have the databsae structure used at cars.com, which needs to be implemented into the script I want to use.
3. The sell section needs to be simillar to www.cars.com
4. The buy section also needs to be simillar to www.cars.com
5. The script works in 2 ways:
A. A user can come to the site and place an ad and pay a listing fee (which is already in place)
B. some clients which their cars are listed in www.cars.com would give us the database and it will be directly imported into our DB (actually we will have to parse the database from cars.com and replace the old data the user has with the new one.) Each client has a uniue ID nad password in cars.com which we will have access to.
6. I would like to make some minor changes to the admin area and be able to share the database with another site. For example:
Let's say I have a car dealer as a client. I want to use the same software and build his site, the only difference would be:
A. the version on his site will not have the add cars section
B. Clients coming to his site will only see his cars. (keep in mid that cars.com clients have unique IDs so this is done very simple)
This is mostly what is needed. There are a few minor additions as well, which may come into play.
