Project Description:
We're preparing a fan portal dedicated to common electronic devices, so:
* Blog, forum and wiki MUST be FREE software (we're on a limited budget, this is not a commercial project)
* Preferred software to integrate: Wordpress, SMF and MediaWiki (but any reasonable suggestion is welcome)
* Single Sign On for blog, forum and wiki with different and adjustable privileges for each user on each part of the site
* Blog posts MUST be created as threads in author selected forums
* Target forum selection MUST be done in the blog content editor screen, before publishing content
* Comments on blog posts from blog interface MUST be also forum replies from forum interface
* Blog post URL: domain.com/news/postID
* Forum URL: domain.com/forum/
* Wiki URL for the device manufacturer: domain.com/make
(displayed content will be like http://bit.ly/7oaku with a static and short info on top of the page)
* Wiki URL for the device itself: domain.com/make/model
(displayed content will be like http://bit.ly/x1Ly2K since we want crowdsourcing for the content)
