An Educational product that uses an ActiveX called the 'TxControl' from [url removed, login to view], requires for that ActiveX to be able to accept 'handwriting recognition' input from the 'writing pad, write anywhere' components of the windows XP operating system as used in both the Tablet PC and external USB tablet scenarios.

This functionality must be available to as many users of external USB tablets and TabletPC computers as possible.

e.g. if I am a user of a laptop, and I have purchased a tablet and have 'handwriting recognition' installed from the 'officeXP' disk, we would like it to work.

Deliverable will be a single dialog based project written in Visual C++ 6.0 or better, where the TxControl on the surface of the dialog is able to accept handwriting from as many sources as possible.

Functionality - user opens program, clicks on the ActiveX (TxControl), and then starts handwriting either on the control or in the 'writing pad' area at the bottom of the screen, through the tablet.

Coder will be required to download the trial version of the TxControl to write the deliverable.

_**Suggestion to coder applying to do this job.**_

Tell us how you are going to do it in broad strokes... and what functionality therefore you expect to see.

We obviously have some ideas of how it might be done - your explanation gives us an idea of what we are paying for.

There is a high probability that more than one coder will be chosen to provide solutions to this problem as it is believed that there is more than one solution available.
