Using QMail/VPOPMail as the comparative example, we are looking to have a SMTP/MTA server built which has all of the typical features QMail has with a minor addition: Sender and Recipient are to be checked against a MySQL database. Different "rules" will apply for each query to be made which will be disclosed after NDA is signed. 1. When FROM is received, check the database for black-listed accounts. If sender is listed, return 55x or similar error at the RCPT command. 2. When RCPT is received, check the database for (1) Is the user account valid (2) If not valid, is there a catch-all account created (3) Additional rules disclosed once the project is accepted. The test environments are going to be RH/FC and possibly Debian and BSD. Machines are going to be x86 and x86-64, the spec file should test for the foundation, display which type is found and compile accordingly. (RH-RPMs are intended to be built.)
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
