Project Description:
The project is to create an intelligent shopping cart process for a canvas printing business. The initial website picstocanvas dot co dot uk is already created but needs to include an image upload, image sizing and colouring options with an ordering process. The new proccess is to be a 4 step process as detailed within. Included are screen shots of a site already working with the functionality.
The additional pages must retain the general feel of the site with the banner pages to continue through the new pages.
Step 1
A page to explain that the uploading of the photo, the functionalilty must be able to brows to find the required file and uploaded onto the site.
Step 2
The image is loaded onto the site and displayed in the centre of the webpage, the image can then have atributes set
against it
The following functionality is to be created to set the picture within the canvas.
Rotation of image.
Orientation (Square, Landscape, Portrait with predetermined sizes available for selection.)
Colour effects applied to the image
Bleed option selection
Scale ability to re-size the image within the box to show how the image is to be displayed on the canvas.
To summarise the the selections selected a clear display is shown at the bottom of the page.
As the sizes are changed the cost of each option is displayed to show the user the cost in £
Buy now button to take to the next stage in the ordering process
Step 3
Confirmation of selection with option to add gift wrapping or delivery is required. This acts as a summary of the selection, this must show the image within the summary
Step 4
Ordering and billing pages with address details and payment functionality. The payment gateway to be for Paypal initially, with option to include payment API
Additional information.
The user must be able to create an account, where the uploaded images can be saved and recalled at a later date. this must be done as an alternative to buy now but store and come back later.
