Project Description:
Monujo (app.monujo.it), is a personal finance/budget management web portal (like mint.com or hellotxt),
We are looking for a talented developer that will be working on existing
portal functionalities.
Your goal will be to improve the banking transactions import system.
Right now at each import the system make a full text search on every single financial transaction and try to match it with a
corresponding set of database stored variables to identify the transaction category (household expenses, payroll, credit card, family expenses, etc).
The system uses the basic PHP match function which is very limited and often returns false results.
What we would like is to improve the system and check also for similar words (that are not exact match) and "rank" the results to
identify which transaction category fits best.
The web portal is developed in PHP/AJAX (on CodeIgniter framework) and the backend is MySQL.
We require :
* Expert knowledge in PHP, CodeIgniter and MySQL
* Good knowledge of AJAX, JQuery, JSON
* Appreciation & understanding of web usability and accessibility
* Ability to work in team at distance
