I have a Drupal 6 installation with multiple roles defined.
One of the roles is called Manager. This is not the site administrator, only a user with elevated privileges like viewing and editing user accounts.
I want the Manager to be able to go into the user profile editing screen and assign roles to other users just like the site administrator can.
The only way I can let the Manager have this ability is to give them permission to administer permissions, which I don't want to do.
I need someone to figure out how to configure this or provide a cusomization which will allow one role (Manager) to administer roles of other users without giving away the ability to administer permissions.
This needs to be done in the next 10 hours.
Payment only for successfully completing the goal.
You will need to figure this out on your own server and send me the instructions or customized files. I will not give FTP or admin access to my site as it is being worked on right now.
Thanks,
Daniel
