I am redesigning a website for magazine publication. They sell their magazine online and would like to sell other products as well.
They are using Vbulletin forum software and would like to continue to use this software because of the large member base.
They would like to integrate a cms, ecommerce, classifieds and auctions and to have them all work from the Vbulletin user DB. (I.e. nobody will have to re-register).
As part of the CMS, they would also like to have the ability to create “Mini Sites?? for users that would appear as [www.theirsitename.com/usersname]or similar. They would like to be able to select from a few different templates when creating the mini site and their users would be able to log in and customize their mini site through a WYSIWYG editor.
As part of the ecommerce portion of the site, they would like to be able to sell and track other peoples products. So that they and the people who are selling the item are both emailed when that particular item is ordered. Also, if that person has a “mini site?? with them those products would show up on their “mini site?? and link to the main shopping cart when clicked.
They would like to be able to add/remove/maintain all pages of the site in house so all pages must be editable from a WYSIWYG editor.
There must also be a members only section for people who have purchase digital subscriptions of the magazine and a mechanism for distributing the digital version of the magazine, or at least an email with a link to the latest copy.
I will be designing the “Look?? of the site keeping in mind that it needs to work with the look of Vbulletin.
I would like a quote on what it would cost to have someone create something like this keeping in mind that some details may change a bit, but those are the main requirements.
Please get back to me with a price as well as a timeline on what it would take to complete something like this or if you require any more information.
This is one of many projects I am working on and I am currently looking for someone that I can work with on future projects as well as this one.
