Hi, I help run the blog www.overheardatmcgill.com. We have a relatively complicated workflow system through our Admin System that we've developed (through WordPress), combining a number of custom and opensource plugins. We want to be able to share that technology for any other overheard-style blog. We need: 1. A generic version of our blog (remove the logo, clean the database, allow the color set to be dynamic and make the references to the title Dynamic) 2. An InstallKit or an Instruction Guide for Installing the generic Overheard blog. (somewhere along the install, the user must have the ability to choose his color set, logo, and blog name). 3. The system may require a small number of fixes before it is shippable (some basic SQL syntax bug, IE stylesheet bug). Fix these. You must also be able to do this installation on someone's server yourself (please include 1 installation in the project price - please note your price for future installations in the bid). We prefer to work with one-man coders or small teams.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
