This project will create a game that will play Connect 4 by completing the Link 4 system from Southern Illinois University http://www.cs.siue.edu/gameplaying/. The last step will be able to incorporate the game with the Link4 system. I require working version with minimax algorithm. For each move, print out a message whenever a terminal or cutoff nodes is reached and its value. The total number of nodes explored should also be displayed. Look-ahead: Look ahead of 4 is acceptable, 5 is better. Also, includes Alpha-beta: Give the option to turn it on and off. Print out how many nodes are checked in each case. For instance, I will run the program once with simple minimax and it will print the number of nodes checked for each move. Then I will duplicate the game with alpha-beta on to see the new number.
