Google Maps API Project

We are looking to create a relatively simple site integrated with the Google maps API. The site design will be in stages, with a relatively simple initial setup and more features as the work continues. The first stage will consist of two basic pages: - The first page will be the starting point, where users enter some location information -- most likely a street intersection and zip code for their starting point and ending point. - The second page will have 2 major components: 1) A route calculated between the two points and shown on the Google map (this should be relatively straightforward through the Google maps API) 2) Points indicated along or near the route that were determined by what other users entered in part 1. Next to the map, there will be a listing of all of the points along the route with checkboxes for the user to select which indicate the other users along the route. The bulk of the work in the first stage lies in getting the Google maps API up and running with the database of location information entered by the users from the first page. Development can be done on any platform the coder chooses; however, the final site must be up and running on the buyer's environment.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

Site will run in all IE and Firefox. Server is a LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL) environment. Work does not necessarily need to be done in PHP, however, if you choose another language, it is subject to approval.
