We need a utility designed for Joomla 1.0.13 that will integrate with Community Builder. The main administrator has a text file with customer data that is exported from another database (which controls the customers membership base). Each week they want to update membership status on the website (Joomla! with CB).
The utility should be/do:
1. Initiate the process through the Administration Interface
2. Not require any reformatting of the text file for import.
3. perform a check of data being imported against the current CB users/profiles in Joomla.
a. If the user exists in CB and exists in the import, update any data that is different using the data in the import.
b. If the user exists in CB and does not exist in the import, set the CB user to disabled/non-active and disable any entries in the Sobi2 Index for that user. It is important not to delete the record.
c. If the user exists in CB and is disabled/non-active and does not exist in the import, do nothing.
d. If the user exists in the import but not in CB, create the CB user and activate it. Also create an entry in SOBI2 using only name, company name, phone, and email fields.
4. Have a second import feature that allows the admin to import categories for SOBI2 that will add/update/delete existing categories, in the same fashion as above.
The category update will be done before the user update.
