We are looking for a flash, AJAX or similar system for creating personalized products where our clients can type in their information and view an instant proof/preview of their custom item online.
We like the systems from several web sites and I have chosen which parts we like from each site and have listed them below. So you will be taking features from several web sites and combining them into our web site. This will be for the web site shop holly days dot com. We will keep the basic look of the web site, but you will need to make the web site wider (from left to right) so that we can fit more information on the screen. What shopping cart do you recommend? We are currently using Creloaded 6.4 Community Edition (free).
The flash/AJAX system will be for items such as cards, cups, shirts, signs, stickers, etc. The other products that I mentioned like cup, shirt, etc. would be the same thing as the card system, but different shape. We will have pre-designed images for all products and the only thing the customers will be able to do is type and change fonts/font colors/spacing, etc. They can't change the design or move things around. They just type the text and upload an image if that card or product has a space for an image. Again, the cups, signs, shirts, etc. will be just like the card system, but will have a different dimension. For example, the sign is the same as the card, but it will be 11x17 in size. The cup would be the same as the card, but it would be something like the attached shape (see attached file named output for an example).
The design will be outputted into a print ready PDF or EPS file so that the admin can print the final customized design.
