Project Description:
I am developing a website where users where each page will display a user edited image. I need a user to be able to click an edit button that pulls up a page with a Flash app. The Flash app needs to pull the existing image so the user can edit the image.
The image editor must have the following functions:
* Choice of a full spectrum of colors (see http://www.quasimondo.com/archives/000572.php)
* Ability to adjust brush size
* Ability to adjust transparency
Additionally the editor must have a simple but aesthetic user interface. The canvas size will need to be rather large (1000x500 approx). Ideally the whole Flash app should be no bigger than 1000x550 with the controls on the bottom portion of the app.
Finally and most importantly a user must be able to save the edited image once he is finished. The user will be saving the image to my server and not to his hard drive. The user should not have the option to save it to his hard drive. Once he presses save it should process the file (ideally compress it in some way to save disk space and bandwidth) and save it on the sever under the same file name.
