Project Description:
I have software that now needs the graphic design to enable it to work in a windows environment.
I am not very clear on IT jargon but I think it is written using PHP. The instructions I have to open are as follows:
Step1: Import full database on MySQL Server.
Step2: Change the setting file and mention database name and password insetting file under folder classes.
Step3: Give writes permission 777 to reports folder report.
Unfortunately I do not know what this means nor how to open and run this program.
I need assitance firstly in understanding how to run the software but also in operating it with a graphics design.
Once this is complete and if I am happy with the service and end result I will need to commission a website to advertise this software. In addition I will need someone who can further assist with updating this software when changes are to be made. This will be frequent. This is a project with ongoing work attached. I would like to build a strong working relationship so that all the work is done by the same company.
While I know what I want my software to look like and how I want it to run I am not an IT expert so I do not understand how the backend of the software runs.
The person I award this project to must be patient and understand my lack of knowledge in the IT environment.
The software is a database and trust account program with formulas. This software is designed for solicitors to manage their trust account requirements. There are some very strict rules and compliance attached to the software. To enable it to be approved software it must meet very strict requirements. Therefore I will need someone to make further changes to this software to ensure it remains compliant with the regulations.
