I require the redesign and redevelopment of [login to view URL] - a deodorant-by-mail retail subscription service.
The objectives for the web development are as follows:
• To develop a site design and layout that creates an impactful and responsive user experience for the brand.
• To integrate flexible promotional features, social sharing, and rich media into the experience.
• To develop the new site on a robust content management platform that can be easily updated and maintained by staff
• To connect the site to our preferred payment gateway for credit card transactioning (1ShoppingCart).
WHAT WIL NEED TO BE DONE
WEB DEVELOPMENT
Design and develop the website (the “Work Product”) into a dynamic and easy-to-navigate web presence that presents our site and product content with an emphasis on clarity, legibility and usability. Central to the project is the integration of a Content Management System (“CMS”) that will empower non-technical staff administrators to easily manage site content via a password-protected web-based publishing interface. Would like a websites that conform to development standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
WEB DESIGN
We would like a site design that parallels the successful [login to view URL] website. I want you to work with us to design a modern and responsive website interface that showcases the our superior product offering, its selling features and the value of our buying model. We envision a fun and impactful yet accessible visual treatment suited to your target audience. I want someone who approaches their creative work with a priority on clarity of presentation, intuitive site navigation, sophistication in typography and high-quality rich media. The result will be a site design that engages the audience, and showcases the offering, and moves product off the shelf.
WEB TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
I would propose a custom-development on the Wordpress 3.X platform coupled with the installation and configuration of the FoxyCart or 1ShoppingCart shopping cart module.
I would like all HTML and CSS to be responsive using Bootstrap framework allowing the width of the content to adapt to different screen sizes across devices. I also want to integrate Google Analytics into our site to track web traffic.
TESTING, TRAINING & DEPLOYMENT
I want to ensure that you will undertake quality assurance testing of all aspects of the project, including cross-browser testing in IE7+, FF2+, Safari and Chrome on both PC/Mac platforms, working with the us to support a successful site launch.
