Project Description:
We are in the process of building a social networking website for travellers from the ground up. Though we have a pretty good idea of the functionality we want on the site, I am looking to hire someone who can help translate our functionality ideas in to an actual site design using their own creativity and innovation skills.
We are NOT looking for someone to do actual coding -- rather, we would like the person to produce screenshots/mock-ups of what the site might look like and work with us to explore different ideas.
The expectation is that we will provide guidance on what functionality will need to be incorporated, and then you take that and use your creative side to figure out how to best lay stuff out and present it. We can provide additional information about functionality, upon request.
The target audience for this site is American college students age 18-22. We are looking for a captive design that is clean, intuitive, and professional looking.
In your bid, please include:
- Your experience (if any) in developing social networking websites. If you do not have any experience, please describe how your skills would be well suited for this project.
- Samples of your work, especially "out of the ordinary" functionality or designs
- A bit about how you "like to work" -- we are looking for someone collaborative. Is that you?
