This website will be a document download, article rating, and social site using 8 popular Joomla extensions such as:1. JReviews
2. Community Builder
3. GJive
4. Docman
5. Calendar Qivva Events
6. Ultimate Social Bookmarking
7. Defender
8. Smart-Newsletters
You will need to install & customize the extensions. The site features various functionality designed to take advantage of the extension customizable features. You will also develop some code to modify a few extension features and to integrate various features - see site layout specs.

-ONLY BID AFTER YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THE SPECIFICATIONS COMPLETLY
Bid after you view the specs layout and the clearly understand what is normal customization and what is programming. The programmer should dedicate this project to successful completion.
Please review extensions demo sites (the attached doc has the links) to learn about the capabilities each extension offers. This way you will get an idea of the amount of customization and programming involved. Most of the site is customizing the extension features, not all code development. In fact the template has many features built in already.
CONCEPT
The heart of the site is the KITS. Each kit page provides the reader with information on how to justify the purchase of a product/service, and on that same content page are downloadable documents (docman) specific to the topic. Also there are screenshots of each document. There are user and editor ratings for reach content page.
Integrated extrension on same page:
Some content pages use more than one extension types. For instance docman and JReview features are on the same page in many cases.
These modules are specific to a topic category such as the web page with a Networking IT article (kit) will also include Networking IT top 5 groups, and Networking IT events. Youll see it in the specs.

PROGRAMMER REQUIREMENTS
The programmer must have experience with JReviews customization
The programmer should communicate status updates to me via instant messaging and email
Fully committed to learn the Joomla extension features and project specifications before staring the project
Must sign a confidentiality agreement & I own all the rights to the custom programming
PROJET REQUIREMENTS
Version
Joomla 1.5x and all of the latest extensions that are compatible to the release.
Philosophy:
There are extensions features that are not in the specification but its assumed that you should include the features that are part of the extension.
Feel free to use their additional extension features as long as it enhances the site, not take away from the specification. For example if community builder offers most visited module you can include that in the site, even though it nots in the spec.
If you know of better, alternative extensions please suggest them!
Development Highlights
Create an multi-option search features for the header using existing search parameters found in various code
Integrate Docman and JReviews features in the submit article process and on the content page
Integrate favorite Kits module in the Members Page (community builder/Gjive page)
Remove references to extension names/companies that appear on the website.
Users must be registered to download documents and to submit kits.
Testing:
Must test each feature based on the specification
Copy the completed site to a second host site.
