PhD (www.phdress.com) is the worlds first wearable art gallery! We print, artwork submitted by artists and photographers from all over the world in an all over print format on t-shirts and dresses - so instead of purchasing a painting or a print to decorate your wall, you get to use the artwork!
We are a startup based in São Paulo, Brazil. Our MVP #1 was released in march 2013 and we were able to test the products and our concept with our customers. Now it's time for move on and put out there MVP #2, which will be a more dynamic and interactive platform comparing the first one. Our garment production is now just-in-time, as in we don't do inventory and only print all our tees on demand. The platform should work accordingly with our new strategy.
PhD works like this:
1- The artist or photographer will request an invite to be part of PhD's portfolio.
2- After the approval they are able to download the templates and create a mock up of the product: tees, dresses, shoes, bags etc (e.g. Threadless.com)
3- The artists then upload their artwork + the mock ups in our website (following specific rules of size, format etc).
4- Ready to sell!
5- After the first purchase the artist can request his royalty credit online.
1- The customer will browse over various artworks and choose his/her favorite
2- Customer choose the artwork printed on various types of products.
3- Customer buys the product
4- PhD produces it specially for him/her
5- PhD delivers it after a little while.
6- Customer is happy and looking artistic!
What we need now in order to make this work is to connect plugins and apps to our Magento platform so is all automatic and scalable. WE ARE NOT RE-DESIGNING THE WEBSITE AT THIS POINT (it will be another briefing). Our deadline is November 29th.
Please read carefully the briefing below. We will discuss the briefing after the bidding is over!
1- Magento www.phdress.com
1.1 Install plugin “Customer as Partner”.
1.3 Make necessary ajustments on current theme so the plugin is working in a proper and smooth layout.
1.4 Delete Magento’s Portuguese translation. Keep the english version.
1.5 Review Magento’s instalation in our server and check for possible bugs de site delay.
3- Open Drive (www.opendrive.com)
3.1 Connect Open Drive to Magento so when the artists upload their artworks, these are stored automatically in files identified by the artist's id codes.
3.2 Artists cannot delete or modify the file sent after the first sale is done.
3.3 In Magento, before the file goes to Open Drive, the system must check if the files have the required specs (name, size, format etc)
4- Moip / Paypal (www.moip.com.br / www.paypal.com.br)
4.1 Reconnect Moip to our Magento platform using a transparent check out system.
4.2 Delete the 02TI plugin currently on use (please recommend us a plugin if you can!).
4.3 Connect Paypal (business account) to Magento.
4.4 In Magento develop a function button that permits artists to request their credit. The transaction will be made via Moip or Paypal. The artist must have an account in either one of these services to enjoy a no-fee deposit.
5- SSL certificate (www.godaddy.com)
5.1 Install the SSL certificate from Godaddy.
I hope you can help us put this MVP #2 out there in a satisfactory time!
All the best,
PS.: Take a look at the tees we made so far in the attached files!
