Project Scope of Work The overall goal of the project is to replicate the current live build (1.4.2) and upgrade it to the magento latest (1.7.0) from there implement the Cart2Quote software to enable a cxml punch out system for our customers procurement teams. Action Items Duplicate Current Live Site 1.4.2 into a Subfolder. (This requires database to be cloned over and settings changed to work) * Person/group hired should be able to handle this... Or at least detail the process for us as we WILL NOT be giving full cpanel permissions for security reasons.. We will, on our side, run the live site backup for the freelancer and have the freelancer build inside that environment. Test for basic store functionality. * Refer to the following pre-launch checklists: - [login to view URL] - [login to view URL] Upgrade duplicate site to latest magento version. (1.8.0 as of writing this scope of work) Test the following customized features for full functionality: CA Sales Tax Zones * We need sales tax to be based off of the California tax rates. This is based on city. - [login to view URL] - Will include sample code on how to achieve this, but may need some tweaking as our code was generated for Magento 1.4.2 Add to cart from category list and include quantity input field * We need visitors to be able to add quantities into a box from the list/grid pages and add the quantity to cart automatically. Add title field to registration and checkout page * We need to be able to collect information for a field labeled "title" in order to complete checkout process.  Shipping Insurance * We need a custom surcharge to be added to the total purchase price based on the cart amount. This needs to display in the totals breakdown as "Shipping Insurance" Price on Application needs to work * Some items need to be set to "Call for Pricing" via a POA. Manufacturer "badges" for products * Products with a specific manufacturer need to display a manufacturer badge image Build needs to maintain SOAP API + Pervasive to Salesforce integration * Magento to Salesforce integration must remain intact. Orders need to be synced over * We use [login to view URL] for payment processing and we need this to work, and work well. * It will give us an error order # already exists or invoice # already exists. We need to make sure that when the builds are swapped, the order #'s need to match up and order processing goes through. Ordering process needs to be tested. * Orders must go through for both new and existing customers. * Re-ordering needs to work properly as well. * All customer data should remain on the build. Cart2Quote plugin needs to be installed and tested * Storefront needs to be created in which procurement systems can connect to and utilize the Cart2Quote fuctionality. CXML connectivity testing needs be be performed with the customer. * Customer should be able to tie their procurement system with this build of magento. Site needs to be made live during off hours and tested further. Website and SSL cerificates need to be updated. * Subdomains need to be set and tested. Notes: Cart2Quote allows us to configure a storefront for companies that use CXML based systems for their procurement.
