Java Image Uploading and Resizing Tool

We want to hire someone to develop a Java applet which can compress large images to small files and upload to the server. In the mean time, on the server site, there is Java program to de-compress the files and resize them to different sizes. The applet should offer: 1. Good image file compression. We need to compress to 10% of original file if possible without quality compromising. 2. Uploading with multi-thread to speed up the performance. 3. Continuation uploading. If any networking problem, the uploading can be resumed later on. 4. Applet with HTTP tunneling though firewall. 5. Applet should work cross browsers on windows and Mac machines. The resize program should offer: 1. High quality resize without quality compromising. Such as resize 3m JPEG to 400k and 40k respectively. The quality of the image is very important after resizing. We ONLY consider programmer who meets following criteria: 1. Have done image compression and resizing in Java with similiar experience. Sample of similiar work is required. 2. Good RAC rating is a must. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows, Mac, IE, Firefox,Safari,Opera
