This simplified repost is because we did not feel we received the help we desired of a programmer.
We use AurigmaUp (http://www.aurigma.com/mobile/) for clients to upload multiple video and photos from their mobile iPhone, iPad and Android devices directly to the server. It is working on the server now.
We want a new directory created each time there is an upload.
Directories can be date&time or other unique identifier but cannot be overwritten.
I believe this may be a solution posted on Aurigma's Forum.
" You should add some cookie or session which will identify a user who upload images. Then you need to send this cookie with HTTP POST request through cookie property specifying it the BeforeUpload event. On the server side, you need to get value of cookie and create a folder with its name for uploaded files. "
Ideally, we want to treat each multiple-file upload session as a new project placed in a new directory. But will settle for a directory per user.
I do not expect a lot of traffic - maximum 10 uploads a day.
I'm happy to answer any questions to help you quote properly.
