Sample Spring MVC RESTful Web Application

Need a OS independent sample Spring MVC RESTful web application(JSON) backend driven by pure java (1.6). **No framework such as spring, hibernate should be used in backend.** It should be supported for multiple clients such as php, android. proper logging mechanism (log4j) and error handling mechanism with properties files should be used. In DAO layer, a DAOFactory need to be used with JNDI and connection pooling to MySQL server. MySql scripts for sample user table and product table need to be given along with source code.

Following operations must be supported in this application.

int createUser(User user);

void signIn(String userName, String password);

void updateUser(User user);

List<Product> getAllProducts();

Product getProduct(int productId);

void updateProduct(Product product);

this application should be able to build either by maven or ant.

project source code has to be compatible with eclipse IDE.

Source code along with built war file need to be submitted.

War file should be able to deploy in Tomcat 5.* server.
