I've plenty of experience with data processing and transformation and can envision a system to translate your proprietary document formats (.doc) to text, that's no problem. The issue is that depending on the format of the text, the font size, the margins, etc. the number of lines could vary wildly depending on how you choose to look at the file. If you predefine a line as being no more than 100 characters you could work around it, but your accuracy will surely be impacted. I'm interested in the project.
