Hello,
I am looking for a programmer/website development team to create a similar clone to the popular website, "Stickam". I am looking to develop a live streaming website for music DJ's. The goal is to allow members to have there own live streaming channels so people around the world can watch them mix music from beginner dj's from bedrooms to professionals in studios. My goal is to revolutionize the online DJ scene and give Dj's a way to get themselves noticed.
The site needs to be created from scratch which features live video streaming, chat and an archive for audio/video clips. The site will act as a social network where members can either join for free and have limited features or pay a lifetime membership and gain access to the sites full features.
You must be very fluent with webchat programming and social network scripts.
The site must not rely on any outside services that require monthly (or other) fees for live video chat or other services. It must be completely self contained with all scripts. I have been looking into "Video Whisper"= http://www.videowhisper.com/?p=Live+Streaming
If the chosen programmer has any other suggestions for the main plugin for the site, I will take anything into consideration.
The website must have a backend page that allows for manipulation of all things that the social network scripts allow, plus also allow manipulation of video feed bitrate and upload maximums.
The first stage of this project will be to create an exact clone of stickam and be fully functional without bugs.
The 2nd half will be making some modifications to the website in order to make the site unique:
- some style/graphic changes.
You should be able to "Go Live" and broadcast your audio and video. For privacy settings, you can choose who can see and interact with you: Everyone, Members Only, Friends Only. Depending on which option you choose, your audio video live feed will be streaming to your profile page. When you Go Live, people who visit your profile page (who are given permission) will see your live webcam feed, and hear you. It will open a Audio/video chat window similar to Stickam.com with 7 -10 video windows, allow for text message, and allow turn on/off of video/audio of windows.
There should be a chatroom that I can modify on the admin page, where members can go and be public, and audio/video chat with other members. It should look exactly like Stickam.
For member's profile pages, they should be fully customizable from colors to background images. The site should support video formats such as AVI, MOV, WMV, 3GP, and MPEG. The site should support audio formats such as MP3 and WAV. The video player should be able to be added to any members personal websites using the players embedded code. There should be different sizes for the video player as well.
