Project Description:
An existing social network is looking to build several enhancements:

Task A. To Program the Conference Registration Package Modification Workflow:

1. Create a Modify icon as part of the event page. (Currently the
even page is sensitive to whoever is viewing the page. If a person
who has already registered is viewing the page the clickable
Registration image is grayed out and becomes non-clickabl).
2. Create a script that runs when the Modify icon is clicked and shows
a page with the current conference package selection checked out and all other packages with
empty (non selected) check boxes.
3. Allow a user to select another conference package by clicking in a
corresponding check box and then clicking on the Submit button. When
the Submit button is clicked, show the confirm page with the message
“You are about to change your Registration Package” and give choice of
“OK” and “Cancel” buttons.
4. If a person clicks the “Cancel” button return him to the event page.
5. If a person clicks the “OK” button display the following message:
“You have changed your Registration from Package A to package B.
Please allow three business days for your order to be processed. You
will get an e-mail confirming the adjustment. For additional support
questions please call the event registration telephone number located
on the event page”.
6. Update db with the actions taken i.e. replace the old package info
with the newly selected package info.
7. Send an e-mail with this text to two accounts: the event
organizer’s account and the conference registrant account. The text of
the e-mail is as follows:
“First Name, Last Name of Registrant, has changed the registration
record from Package A to package B. It will take three business days
for this order to be processed. Fist Name, Last Name of Registrant
will get an e-mail confirming the adjustment. For additional support
questions call the event registration telephone number located on the
event page”.

Task B. Graying/Disabling the Register, Modify and Cancel buttons:

Program the ability and expose it on the event administrator's page to gray
out i.e. disable all three event buttons: Register, Modify and Cancel. So
that after a certain cutoff date the on-line registration t an event can be
stopped.

Task C. Program the Conference Registration Package Modification Workflow:

1. Create a Cancel icon as part of the event page. (Currently the
even page is sensitive to whoever is viewing the page. If a person
who has already registered is viewing the page, the clickable
Registration icon is grayed out and becomes non-clickable)
2. Create a script that runs when the Cancel icon is clicked and sets
the registered status of the persons record in the database to
Cancelled and clears all his package information.
When the Cancel button is clicked, show the confirm page with the message
“You are about to cancel your event registration” and give choice of
“OK” and “Cancel” buttons.
4. If a person clicks the “Cancel” button return him to the event page.
5. If a person clicks the “OK” button display the following message:
“You have canceled your event registration. Please allow three
business days for your change order to be processed. You will get an
e-mail confirming the adjustment. For additional support questions
please call the event registration telephone number located
on the event page”.
6. Update db with the actions taken i.e. change person record status
in the database from registered to canceled and remove all the
package information.
7. Send an e-mail with the same text to two accounts: the event
organizer’s account and the conference registrant account. The text of
the e-mail is as follows:
“First Name, Last Name of Registrant, has canceled the registration
record. It will take three business days for this order to be
processed. Fist Name, Last Name of Registrant will get an e-mail
confirming the adjustment. For additional support questions call the
event registration telephone number located on the event page”.

Task D. Program the creation of new event workflow for external customers:

1. Create a Create New Event icon on the index page.
2. When the icon is clicked display the following form:

Name of Event:
About: (copy the existing About field)
Upload Image: (copy the existing process)

Country: (copy the existing field)
Postal Code: (copy the existing field)

Email Address: (copy the existing field)

Start Time:

RSVP e-mail address (this e-mail account will receive Yes, No, Maybe
votes from people on the guest list):
JOIN/CREATE EVENT button


3. Once the form is created, copy and paste the current fields and
their behaviors as indicated in brackets.

4. On click of JOIN/CREATE EVENT button 2 e-mails need to be
generated, the first e-mail to the person creating the event and the
second to site support (actual e-mail address to be provided).
Here is the text of the e-mails:

First e-mail to the event creator:

“First Name, Last Name, joined the Professional Community and created Event_name.
Please follow this link (create a hot link) to activate your account and see the event
page."

On click on the above link take the person to the event page.

Second e-mail to the system admin:

“First Name, Last Name, joined the Professional Community and created Event_name”

5. Create an ability to send invitations by e-mail to guests at specified dates and times. The e-mail should say the following:

Topic: Invitation to Name of Event
Body: You have been invited to Name of Event that will be held at
Start Date, Start Time at
Location Name
Street
City
State
Country
Postal Code

6. Create a new event in the database.
