We are a non-profit organisation who is building a Kickstarter/ IndieGoGo-like platform for non-profit projects.

We require a web developer who is:

- Hardworking, thoughtful and well-structured
- Responsive to all our queries
- Able to develop the website to our design requirements in a timely manner
- Will work to fix any issues with the site rapidly
- Has good working English skills

We see this as the start of an ongoing relationship with the developer and contingent on our satisfaction with this project, future work will include:

- Developing a mobile website
- Ongoing updates and expansions of the current website

Job Description

Your responsibilities:

- Review and clarify the business requirements working with our team members (via Skype)
- Perform a technical analysis of requirements (and report back to us any that you will be unable to do)
- Produce a solid, detailed, modular design architecture which can be expanded in the future
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements
- Work with the our team to fix bugs with rapid turnaround
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use

Your qualifications:

- Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- Strong English communication skills
- A complete Elance profile
- References or an established reputation on Elance preferred

What you will be required to build:

We require you to build a Kickstarter-like website, to our design specifications, using our logo, colour and style guide. This website will have four components:

1. The website (including all html, php, image files etc.)
2. Customer detail management system
3. Payment gateway linked to our PayPal account
4. Update to our current (WordPress) blog to be styled with the same template



We will establish certain milestones for the completion of the work, including:

1. Scope development and clarification of requirements; (5% completion)
2. Skeleton structure with click thru-pages (after which we will provide you feedback) (25% completion)
3. Detailed structure with all pages functional (after which we will provide you detailed feedback) (75% completion)
4. Completion of the site.(100% completion)
5. Ongoing support (paid at an hourly rate)

We are happy to clarify any questions you may have and look forward to building a site which will solve many social problems in the word together. We are able to provide you with a detailed design brief which shows all the pages which need to be built if you require this.
