I have a PHP youtube to mp3 conversion script and need it modified with following : 1). Make it multi-server capable where video grabbing and transcoding is done on slave-servers in round-robin fashion (main scripts resides on a dedicated server and send jobs to other servers sequentially). To add more servers we simply need to copy few files to the new server and add IP/path information on our main server. 2). Youtube blocks access if too many API requests are done, to get around this we can check API response errors and If API response results in quota errors block the requests for some time (10-15 minutes) which should reset the block - we can check the API response from one server and if it has reached it's quota delegate jobs to next server. Any other ideas are also welcome.
