Hi my daughter built a website for me. I like it but we have run into a problem. She added Security to the site and now it acts weird. We were told by our web host, FatCow to redirect the domains from http:// to https:// . We did this and noticed immediately that the paypal buttons, twitter button and the bing search box look very strange. It also brings up a security message while visiting the site using IE. We feel that this could be a huge problem for us getting sales. It seems to deter customers rather than added assurance, defeating the original purpose. So we need help fixing this issue. Can you fix it without changing the whole site? Also I would like a price quote for that if you can do it.
Separately I would like a price quote for fixing the commerce part of the site. Again, is it possible to do it without changing the whole site? We have it set up to take paypal but would like to add our own shopping cart eventually. We would like the shopping cart to have both the capabilities of running the transaction ourselves or through paypal. Also we would like it to have a wishlist, package tracking, password verification, and collection. Our idea for the collection part is to have it where a customer can view the items they have previously purchased so that they can compare and view it when away from their paintings at home. then in the wishlist it can say add to collection, which would put the item in their cart and allow them to purchase it.
If these two quotes could be done separately that would be greatly appreciated as we may need to do one project at a time. Thanks for your time in advance and we look forward to your response,
