Build a website according to a given site design. All resources are provided or must be cut from supplied TIFFs.
You will code a website with one special effect according to a given design. It is expected you will do a precise job down tothe pixel. (In other words: the site must look exactly like the design, not just a little bit.)
Only header and footer is to be coded, the site content will be created later. The site must supply a login, content editor and a menu editor, which allows to fill in content later.
Design elements and colors are to be taken from the designs supplied with the acceptance of your bid. PHP, Java Script, CSS and layers are to be used. (We might do a code audit to ensure your code is according to current standards: constants for variable widths, heights, elements, speed; no redundancies, use of style sheets, consistency in class naming, code comments etc. We will not force you to use a specific coding technique, but we expect a clean job, not an undocumented code mess.)
Please only apply if you have enough time and are willing to keep working with us in the future. Follow-up jobs will include further construction of the site and site maintenance/updates. If you apply, you must provide samples ofsites you have created and/or reference sites you have worked on. Please do not apply if you aren't sure you can complete thejob on time.
Non-static content is maintained in a MySQL database. The webserver is an Apache.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
