Project Description:
I have developed an html skeleton for a basic photo management site. I need the PHP/MYSQL functionality coded. You can demo the site here. projects.pixelhustler.com/projectdemo.
Clarification and additional requirements.
No word press or prebuilt CMS.
Must use latest PHP, javascript etc... professional, clean, reasonably well labeled code, organized file structure/naming required.
Automatic thumbnail generation. Original image needs to be scaled to width or height of thumbnail size depending on orientation (portrait or landscape) and maintaining aspect ratio. Then it should be centered and cropped. PHP server side image editing (like image magic) can be used.
Need to add a small "X" icon button in the upper right corner of album/photo thumbnail div. Clicking will delete album or thumbnail.
Light box effect when photo thumbnail is clicked.
When a user "registers" an account... a folder with their username should be created in a "profiles" folder.
When a user creates an album... a folder in their profile folder should be created (using the title of the album)
If an album is deleted... album folder, and photos in that folder will be deleted
Need a loading animation in thumbnails div while album or photo thumbnails are loading .
If user clicks one of the main navigation buttons (upper right)... that button should become inactive and have the same CSS style as the rollover button effect. Button will of course become active and in active button CSS state if other button nav clicked.
Unless a user is in an album page... the "ADD PHOTO" button should be dimmed and inactive. "ADD PHOTO" button is only active if user is viewing and albums photos. In the demo... when you click "ADD PHOTO" is displays a page with an "upload" button. This page/button needs to be removed. Clicking "ADD PHOTO" will open "browse" window for user to select photo. After selecting photo I need some kind of simple loading animation while the photo is uploaded and thumbnail is generated.
This is phase 1 of a larger project. The more efficient, quickly and professionally you work the better. Debug your work. Keep it clean. Make sure it all works.... and we may proceed with you through out this projects future phases.
