Project Overview This project requires the installation and customization of Pligg ([login to view URL]). The project will require a few small hacks and additions to the current Pligg codebase. The chosen developer must display extensive experience with php, mysql, javascript. The developer must also be comfortable with CSS/XHTML. Note: We are looking for a reliable and highly professional developer that is interested in long-term projects - there will be continual updates to this project so additional revenue opportunities will be available if a superb job is done. The developer will be required to produce the following: 1) Installation of Pligg 2) Implementation with the provided CSS/XHTML pages 3) Small customizations of Pligg 4) Development of a (simple) mass submit / feed system Additional Project Details The following customizations/hacks are required: • Additional required database fields will be added for each entry • Additional flag options (options for users to flag / report problem entries) • A simple “recommend an entry?? system • SEO friendly URLs (part of the Pligg codebase) • All homepage or category links must link to the final entry page ??" from there the user will go to the destination URL. • All outbound links will be hidden by a re-direct. The final destination URL for an entry will not be displayed, instead a redirect will be used. • All outbound destination pages will be framed Mass Submit / Feed System: A simple feed system needs to be developed to allow trusted users to submit mass entries. Trusted submitters will be given an excel template with specific database fields that they will upload to this system. This system must work seamlessly with the pligg software. Additional notes: • Access to this system will be made through a separate login interface. • A very basic admin area will be developed to allow the addition or subtraction of trusted submitters.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
