First, if you do not know what Quickbook, osC or qtpro are or what they do, please do not bid on project. Freelancer must be available to communicate in English.
We need to integrate a highly modified qtpro osC site with Quickbooks (Enterprise) solution. We do not want to use a third party software (like thub) to add another place to enter products, rather we want to integrate 4 core areas of osC to QB, namely - products, customers, vendors (manufacturers) and orders. There are current contributions that would be a good jumping off point but we need qtpro and custom fields to be integrated as well.
Quickbooks will be the master product area, after initial import of products to QB, all products will begin here.
All current osC products will be imported with the following information:
manu item #
attribute combo (parent/child relationship in qb to match to the product and product attribute combinations in osC)
stock levels per attribute combination, overall stock level.
All customers will be entered with the information contained in the osC customers table and address book tables
Al manufacturer data will be entered with the info contained in the osC manufacturer and manufacturer info tables
All orders will import to QB and decrement inventory in QB in their respective attribute combinations and contain all detail from the web order.
Quickbooks will then in turn, push all new info from customers/order back to the webstore in those 4 areas (creating new if needed updating old if needed) to ensure that the customer can view orders as they are shipped, updated, etc.
Quickbooks will also push all manufacturer info to the osC installation
Quickbooks will also push all new products with this limited info to the osC installation.
A new area of osC will need to be created where all new products from the QB push will be available for editing. These items will be flagged so that they are identifiable and NOT immediately published on the web. The operator can then finish what is necessary to publish and actually publish these products for the web.
An automatic sync will be created to cross check inventory numbers from osC to QB and from QB to osC based on changes to inventory levels through orders or manual changes due to inventory audits (phone orders will be placed through QB and web orders through osC) to ensure accurate stock is shown in both systems.
This is a highly custom project, there will be no out of the box solution for us.
