Project Description:
We want to add a few functions which are facebook alike on top of our Jomsocial site. PHPfox & Social Engine has some of the functions almost ready and can be embedded to the Jomsocial site, for example: “Like”, “Share”, “Tag”, Instant notifications, Auto updates, and disclosure settings. All codes must be optimized.
1) Activities and Interaction
1a) Auto update (long polling with jQuery)
1b) Infinite scroll JavaScript modification
1c) Multi-column display JavaScript modification on layout resolution (wordpress to jomsocial )
2) Integrating wall, home, activities, notifications, and status box like Facebook with reference to the functions of Social Engine and phpfox
Modify wall, home, activities, notifications, and status box (Ajax, JQuery, Classes, and javascript) to do the followings tasks with the use of Social Engine and phpfox.
a) “Like” function- repost
b) Auto html link retrieving (video, snapshots of website, jpg) :
c) Tagging
d) Sub-comment like :
e) Select of disclosure of each status (Everyone, Friends, Friends of Friends*, Only Me), and all status activities by the user
f) Resizing status box
g) Keyboard input for submitting comments
h) Modify system messages
