Our company uses the software Aspasia to provide property listings to our clients. Aspasia creates an xml feed and a rightmove .blm file however currently, the search facility on our website does not take advantage of the xml, rather it uses a proprietary search built by Aspasia (one which does not work particularly well for our needs.)
Requirements: (either as a joomla module (preffered) or as an iframe if joomla component is not possible)
Joomla module which contains
1: search facility with three tabs; professional lettings, student lettings, sales - each of these tabs will give our clients the ability to search minimum and maximum prices, by number of bedrooms, by location and by price (students tend to search based on weekly rent, professionals search based on monthly and sales based on closing price, all of these are categories provided within the xml sheet.
2: Results page: The results page will give the client the ability to view all results by map (google map based preferably - all of the properties have lat and longitude coordinates assigned to them) then click through to the details of an individual result (this can be either on a separate tab or a pop up style. The results page will also give the clients the option to select multiple properties to add to a request for a viewing (i.e. the selected results will pull through to a contact form which posts to email and to the Aspasia system)
The results will be returned with slideshow of images, property description, price etc (We have visuals available as a guide and also the uk rightmove website functions in much the same way.
The search results page will also provide social bookmarking of any of the results to push to twitter or facebook
3: joomla admin control over some basic styling elements (tab & font colour and style for search and results pages and thumbnail image sizes)
4: each search result can be clicked through to a "details sheet" which provides the "long description" and a tabloid spread style view of the property, preferably with a thumbnailed map reference etc -
Additionally, we require someone who can offer ongoing support for this project, i.e. there have occasionally been changes made to the naming of xml fields etc posted by aspasia or rightmove and we need someone who can support these occaional changes OR joomla backend admin control over what fields are parsed
