Project Description:
I own a security company in Arizona and we are trying to develop a dispatch console for our officers in the field that is quite similar to a police departments computer aided dispatching system, but just not as elaborate. We would like it tied into an employee management database, and client management database all accessible from our joomla! website. We have PHP5 and MySQL, and have a very poorly done MS Access database that was slapped together to get things rolling, but we do not have the knowledge to get it totally functional. The features we are looking for are:

Database Wide Features:

* Ability to Attach Photos
* Ability to Attach Documents (PDF, Word - - Maybe Have Them Viewable?? - - Not Important, As Long As They Can Be Attached)
* Automated Backup or ability to manually back up
* Date Reminders and Alerts (For Things About to Expire, Time and Welfare Checks on officers in the field Alerts)
* Welfare Check Reminders For Units On Scene (i.e. A Countdown Timer For An Alert When A Unit Is Assigned A Call)
* Edit Log (Who Did What at What Time and When and If Possible, From Where - - IP Logging?)
* Editable Phone Directory
* Online Form Fillable Reports (Officer In Field Able To Go Online and Fill Out A Report to be Attached to a Specific Call Record)
* Cross Referencing of Information (Property History Report, Employees Assigned to Which Call, etc.)
* Single Log In, Access Granted By User
* Multiple Simultaneous Access (i.e., Officers In Field Can View Pending Calls For Service, and Updates to Calls as Dispatcher Makes Notes ect.)

We would like to have someone that has specific knowledge about joomla! and MySql as that is what we've got to work with from godaddy.com. The project will be considered a confidential one, and this would be proprietary work on your end. If you would like to maybe sell this as a product, we can work a deal and I can get you pointed in the right direction.

We would present half of the payment up front, half when completed. Payment will be in the form of PayPal unless you take credit cards over the phone!

We would like to see progress reports, but its not vital. As stated before, time is not THAT important, but we would like to see a 6-8 month or less return on this.
