Hello:
I am creating a site in joomla using a Rocket theme template. I've used two other contractors who have bee unable to solve my problem I hope the third time is the charm!
Here's the issue. I have put a background image on the site but when viewed on tablet (iPad) it doesn't show the background, only the main content area.

Unfortunately this can not be achieved without the use of a new template, the gantry framework is resetting the use of the sprocket tabs so if you set the background for mobile devices and tabs it renders background ok but overlays the background with the sprockets still and vice versa. Setting the separate css for the mobile devices makes no difference to this either. You can amend it and test it on a full css change and it looks good, but amending the different parts of the code does not have the necessary and correct impact. Apologies for not being able to achieve this, of course no charge, but it will not be a change which is possible, until they fix the bug in gantry and sprockets.
I am looking for an alternative to using a new template and am open to suggestions. Maybe stripping out the browser size queries and have it load full size onto the tablet and then have the user size it accordingly. The end result just needs to be that the client and end-user can see these bars on a tablet-sized device.
