I have an iPhone/iPad App which is a mobile version of a web site built using Joomla 1.5
Most of the App is complete and now all that is required is an elegant method of allowing the user to login to the web site DB to get their personal details, credits and request services.
This project is for someone to provide working xcode/iOS code and, if required, code for the server side.
The server side needs to work with the existing Joomla 1.5 jos_user database table.
So existing users can use the same username/password combo.
The code you provide must be either your own or open source with a suitable licence allowing unlimited commercial use and distribution.
I won't accept hacks.
I've come here to pay for something, robust, scalable and secure.
I won't accept work arounds either.
Any solution that involves using iOS's UIWebView to open up the login screen on the Joomla backend and then scrapping the authentication token from the cookies won't be accepted.
As the App stands at the moment it is at the point of having the username and password entered using UIAlertView's UIAlertViewStyleLoginAndPasswordInput style.
I would like users to be able to register an account and request their password by email if they've forgotten it.
I expect this project to be done by someone who's done this before and is probably re-using existing software they have.
In which case they will have not only the authentication method for credentials but also the registration & password recover to hand too.
If you can point me at a published App on iTunes for which you have the code to do what I'm requesting then you will be a top contender for winning his bid.
It doesn't have to have used Joomla as the backend but it would be nice.
AFNetworking library is in place for non-authenticated data loading from the website, its up to you if you want to use it.
Finally, place a bid that ends with the number 8 so I know you've read this far.
That way I can quickly delete "spam bids" telling me to waste my time checking your PM and feedback. I 'aint interested.
Thank you for reading this far! :)
